Primary Purpose
The Apollo Marketing internship has been created to provide insight, understanding and experience within an International Tourism Operation.
During your time with Apollo you will be exposed to a number of facets within the Commercial and Marketing Team including but not limited to; Social Media/Digital platforms, competitive analysis and site analytics, Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign), tradeshows/events, online content and image creation, online reputation management, data entry, photo shoots and general day to day marketing duties. In addition to this, you may also be required to help at a branch level dealing directly with guests and assisting with branch operations during peak travel periods. Some overnight/overtime work will be required for photoshoots; this will be discussed in advance and accommodation/expenses as required will be covered by Apollo.

Content creation/development and maintenance across websites
Assist the marketing team in the execution of our Social Media strategy
Daily management of social media channels
Help prepare images and documents for print
Help with vehicle photoshoot, tradeshows/events
Help develop creative concepts for advertising campaigns
General day to day marketing and administration/data entry tasksThe program involves:

The successful student will have:
An advanced level of the English language skills, both verbal and written
Ability to take direction with initiative and work independently as well as part of a team
Current enrolment in a Marketing or similar course (basic understanding of Marketing, tourism marketing and/or business operations practices)
Digital experience with Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter) for Business
Basic/intermediary InDesign skills highly regarded
A strong attention to detail and ability to offer a high standard of translation for collateral and online
Excellent communication and people skills
A pro-active manner and positive attitudeThe successful student will have:
